La Casa Blanca is brilliant. Two luxury double bedrooms and en-suite bathroom.  A further mezzanine sleeping deck above the open plan living quarters can accommodate another four persons in one double and two singles.  The double beds are all Queen Size.  The house is fully furnished and equipped including bedding and towels, but we ask that you do not take the towels with you when you go on excursions.  You can pick up beach towels locally for next to nothing.  There is a secure basement where a second shower and toilet are situated. The basement also provides good storage for the dock loungers and any surf or dive equipment etc. you may have as well as the freezer and washing machine. La Casa Blanca has its own freshwater tanks, solar power and back up diesel generator.  The water is heated by gas cylinder. You will need to use a little bit of nounce when operating things!  In reality it is straightforward and full instructions are provided.  Believe me the self sufficiency adds to your vacation.  Gas, oil and diesel are all provided within the cost.   Our agent Veronica from Bravo Center based in Bocas Town will meet you from the Airport on arrival and will be on hand to help with anything you need.

Its a fantastic place and La Casa Blanca gives you the luxury, exclusiveness and convenience to fully enjoy it.  All that for $900 per week.

By water taxi, you are just 5 minutes from Bocas town with all its activities, bars, shops, restaurants, tours etc.  Probably 7 minutes in the cayuco belonging to Augustine, the english speaking caretaker, who lives nearby.  He will ferry you at very modest costs to anywhere you wish and has a lot of local knowledge.  Surfing, Diving, Snorkeling, Site-seeing, Nature Trails, Horse Riding and Trekking are all available locally.  The house is so close to Bocas that the Dive operators have stated they would be happy to collect clients straight from the Dock in the dive boat!  Allowing you to have a leisurely breakfast before you set off for a hard day's enjoyment. I know you can also arrange surf tours in the same fashion.

La Casa Blanca is situated next to a Ngobe Bugle Tribal Village.  This isn't a manufactured tourist village.  The Solarte Ngobe people are proud and happy yet poor in financial terms, living in traditional ways through fishing, hunting and raising chickens.  They will always greet you with a big smile and although curious, they will treat you with politeness and respect,  you are requested to return this courtesy.  If during or after your visit you feel that you would like to help them then may we suggest a donation to the Bocas Educational Service Organisation for the Solarte School.  The school will always welcome a visit from you.
